Just thought I'd look around for online resources came across this. Seems like a good place and a good resource for someone like myself.

Having worked for a property development company for years brother is in a trade as well and he recommended electricians, always fancied learning to become a sparkie so I signed up to a course.

Totally shocked at the sheer amount of qualifications are needed I must say. I knew there was a few and it would take a fair few years from looking into it but I had underestimated!

So far I've got the following on the syllabus PartP defined scope, c+g 2382, 2392,

2365 level 2 C+G 2365 level 3 C+G 2394 C+G 2395 C+G 2357
the new AM2 qual

Busy working my way through module 3 of 33, fairly basic up to now lot of health and safety which is something I've already done tests on, that and some equation tests etc.

They've said average time for experienced people is 3 years depending on how much site work you do and whether you pass exams or have to resit. They've said its pretty comprehensive. Are they missing any people would recommend?
