For some reason the installer has left up to 18" of rails showing to one side of panels. If he makes fixings in the next rafter there would be a line of holes in the slate roof which could leak. Are there any black or grey trims available that could clip on the exposed rails?

lazy? or miss measure! as i tell the wife always better to be to LONG than to SHORT!! what about going down to b/q asking for some invisable paint!
