Discuss can steel wool start an electrical fire? in the Security Alarms, Door Entry and CCTV (Public) area at ElectriciansForums.net

Steel wire wool,is an old scouting trick,to get the fire started,so,not very fire-proof.

On it's own,it would not stop any mice,not from my town,anyway.

Also,if i was a mouse,what with cellars,sub-floors,attics,lath and horsehair plaster...i would choose to make my last stand,in a Victorian property :) It's "Home Alone",for mice.
