Contactor for carbon mat under floor heating

I'm after some advice please, I have carbon mat underfloor heating throughout my bungalow, each room has its own thermostat and are fed via a fused spur , these make virtually no sound, whereas my living room is a much larger area of around 40m2 and has its own thermostat and is fed from up in the loft via contactors. These make a very loud clunking noise every time it clicks on and off, it can be heard all over the bungalow. I have attached a picture of my control box and contactor and wondered if there were some quieter contactors on the market. The contactor box is mounted on a wooden frame in the loft and sits on the joists up there, maybe I could mount it on some soundproofing ? any advice would be appreciated

In principle you could have the contactor replaced by a solid state relay of appropriate current rating.

There are options around both the current rating and the control voltage, but I'm guessing your contactor coil is mains, in which case an SSR with mains trigger might be a 'drop-in' replacement.
