Looking to register with a competent person scheme now i have sufficient knowledge and qualifications. anyone recommend a certain body. was gonna go for nic eic for most popular but stroma is the cheapest.

any advice appreciated
 
It depends on how much money you have and the areas in which you work.
Some companies are still stupid enough to require a specific registration.
You seem to have a handle on the differences already, so do your research on the requirements and take your pick.
