Discuss Discount Electrical online wholesaler in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net

Used them in the past but not for a few months, think the original company got into a bit of difficulty but are up and running again.

Delivery was next day, despite living on the outskirts of most suppliers next day delivery service. Prices were pretty good would use them again.

I just checked their price of Marshall Tufflex against an order I placed with Edmundson last week, Edmundson were £130 Cheaper and I dont have a credit account with them either!
Oh, it was all in stock so I didn't have to wait for delivery unlike them.

There now called Shop4electrical. I use them quite a bit, and I must admit they are pretty good. Most of their prices (well, the items I’ve bought), are way cheaper than the local wholesalers, and If your prepared to wait a day or so, their service is very good.

If you have a ‘difficult’ order, then it pays to ring them up and place the order over the phone, then trying to pick the items from the internet.

I tend to look at both prices from Shop4electrical and my local wholesalers, and split the order between the two depending on the cost of items.

I would defiantly (and plan to), use them again, and would recommend them. Just one thing to add, don’t order fluorescent diffusers as they get trashed by the courier company!

Never seen this before, prices look very competitive. I paid £84 including VAT for a 30M R2 lead at CEF a few weeks ago. They have a 50M for £58.70..

NUFF SAID.

Bought a fair bit recently, including flourescents (tubes trashed, but promptly replaced). Prices are good, you can open an account with them, only down side is you need to plan around delivery times and the £8.50 charge. Hager garage CU, cable and metalclad kit recently bought, way cheaper than local wholesaler....

Noticed the delivery charge. Thinking of getting thing from there if I have a biggish job planned easier to loose the delivery charge.

Conduit and fittings seem to be a lot cheaper than my local wholesaler sell it for.

Ive used them alot and the only down i found was delivery (time & once or twice damaged item) but apart from very good, i got told there owned by bonus, not sure though but have all the same items.
