Downlight holes too big.

Looked at a job which is to replace eyeball downlights in a bathroom to IP65 fixed downlights. However the holes for the existing lights is 95mm and can't seem to find any IP fittings that will cover the hole completly.

Is there anything that can be bought that fits to the fitting to cover the hole once the fitting is pushed into the ceiling?

you can get adaptor kits but not sure if they make IP65. alternative is to make patch discs for the old holes, secure with a bit of lath above and fill edges, and drill new holes to suit new fittings.

Not much use I think as Amp David did say it was for a bathroom.

had this prob before.........................no solutions out their bud, u will have to reboard ceiling if they want spots in same place!.......................as previously posted, the conversions will be no good for bathrooms, i looked absolutely everywhere too, including calling manufacturers.

Yes, nice one, the OP asks for IP65 but I wonder if that's erring on the side of caution!

Could actually use IP44 TBH, just inside zone 1 as the ceiling has at some point been lowered. Just alway fit IP65 in 99% of the jobs, but like IQ says, just erring on the side of caution i think.
