Hi, getting a new kitchen installed and noticed we have a single socket and spur unit within our existing tower unit where boiler is enclosed. Is there any regulations now that affect this ? Thanks

none that i know. only reg' is properly installed and suitable for the environment.

normally electrical accessories should be 6" away from gas appliances. where electrical gear is close to a gas pipe, the recommendation is 1".
