ethos continuity tester

I brought an ethos continuity tester from City electrical factors yesterday and I paid £50 for it as they guy said he woould do me a deal on it as he rekons they were £113 odd trade or something which just doesnt sound right. im thinking of taking it back and going for a fluke but just wondered if anyone else has one and if there any good and wether I got a good deal

Does it measure M and m ohms?

its a good buy for 50 quids , should do the job ok
but not as good as a fluke ;-)

always useful as a back-up to MFT. can't go wrong at 50 notes.

I got the ethos 4162 one and he charged me 47.81 inc vat. On my recipe it says the price per unit is £113.83 which seems a bit excessive to me.

It sounds like you got a very good deal mate. The original RRP was a shade under £200+VAT, but as this is not the current Ethos (7700) model it's being discounted hard. As the new model offers no significant advantages, so you are quids in.
