How do you change the URL? or does it do it automatically?

Go to Log in | Facebook

You can have a normal username for your normal facebook account. And then a business username for any/all of your pages.

They rank in Google so it's worth getting "ElectricianSomewhere" if it is available. Clearly give it some thought if your first choice isn't available as one combination of "Electrician in Somewhere" will be.

Nice try, if it works let me know and I'll unlike :bulb2:

It worked. And so did your threat. Welcome to the arms. Mine's a guinness.

I'll return the likes later in one go. I'll need to login as all the pages to like them all so will wait until we've done all this so I only have to do it once as it's gonna be tedious for me!

Sorry to be a pain in the bum. But we did that really quick. And I thought I may as well try get you all do it for the following pages too. :)

Same applies, I'll spend hours later logging in as each and liking everybody back.

Then if you all go to ------------/username you will be able to give your own pages a unique ------------/PAGE-NAME URL so it's easy to stick on business cards and whatnot.

Please like the following pages for me too:-

I'll give you a hug when I next see you for it. As well as the likes back. :)
A few more on these ones and we're laughing. :)

Please forgive my obvious stupidity. I've had a look on FB and electrician in xxxxx is available. How do I go about claiming it as mine as when I log in it takes me straight to my normal fb page (which I tend not to use much)

Most sites have this cute little contact us button which takes you to an online form which you can fill in detailing your problem. After some time someone will usually get back to you.
Not bloody facebook though! If it's not a standard query which will fit into one of their tidy little boxes which they thought up, tough luck mate. You have a problem which we haven't thought of? Haha dream on if you think we're going to make it easy for you, Loser!
And they wonder why people get annoyed with them?

I think you want, on the sign up of facebook, to "create a page" for an organisation (electrician in **) then in settings...account settings...username > edit username. (once you have your likes), you could use your normal page and edit the username but might get a bit confused.

Now we're getting somewhere. If my learned friends would be so kind as to go to FB, search Electrician South Shields and hit the like button I would be eternally grateful
