I have recently taken on a lecture role at a local college. Their facilities are in ---- state. My aim to rebuild/build a comprehensive fault finding and testing and inspection rig. I cannot find a schematic anywhere. I have the city and guilds one for the test rig, however, I’m after building a different one to enhance the learning of the students. any ideas?

I'd just create my own. Switchable resistors to simulate cable length, IR faults, poor continuity. Switches to create short and open circuits etc.

Think of all the tests, and all the the real world examples of failure modes. Try and re-create them all.
