Feed to fan isolator

I'm wiring a barn conversion holiday let, and the bathroom will have surface mounted spot lights on exposed wooden beams. Is it ok to have the lighting feed go to/from the fan isolator, otherwise there will be 5 cables going to one spotlight: feed in, feed out, switch wire, 3 core to isolator and 1 to the other light- a bit obtrusive. I've googled it, but all diagrams seem to have feed to isolator from ceiling rose. Cheers.

Wire it however you like as long as your are competent and know what you are doing,

I suspect that whatever course the OP went on was only long enough to be shown one way, hence his problem..!

And it doesnt necessarily need a three pole isolator either.....

I didn't want to bring up surface-mounted spots in a bathroom either just yet. Sounds like a DIY/builder job, but wanted to check.
