Hi all, i´m new on here and really hoping for some good advice. Not getting much response from an owners forum!!
My Seat Altea is fitted with a single horn. There is a number 53 relay fitted to the relay panel and I believe this is for the horn.
I want to fit twin horns in place of the single unit and intend joing the extra 2 wires to the original 2, or should i say splicing the positive and earth of the second horn into the original wires running to the old single horn.
If anyone can advise me on this i´d be really grateful as i don´t want to go and cause any unwanted issues of the "if it ain´t broke don´t fix it" kind!!!

Many thanks all,

Nothing to stop you connecting two horns in parallel, just make sure the current handling capacity of the relay will not be exceeded. Higher end cars often have a low and high tone horn fed from the same relay.

And welcome to the forum!
