Fluke t6 tester, non contact voltage reading?

Anyone got one of these yet? I’ve got the older t5 version and the fingers on the end are really handy with ac current detection. The new one supposedly gives you non contact voltage reading as well.

Was in eddies and there was one in a stand on the counter to try out, it wouldn’t work when I tried it so didn’t get one

Any thoughts?

You have to click on ‘reply’.

Yeah but I clicked ‘quote in conversation’ as I wanted to quote LeeH’s post in my reply to him.

On my phone so may have different options? Will try ‘+quote’ next time I’m feeling adventurous

yeh… +quote to quote into a reply post.... "quote in conversation" becomes a private message between you and the other person.
You can also highlight a piece of text and +quote just that part of a post

Regarding Fluke testers. I never liked the name. Seems to say "There might be a voltage there, or there might not.... It'll be pure luck if I'm right"

My names Stu, so I’ve quite often ended up being nicknamed either penny or penny chew.. and yes I’m old enough to remember when they were only a penny. And a Freddo was 10p I think
