Used as a connection, is a standard slash also known as a "virgule"?Back slashes are not recognised in English grammar but are common for computer coding.
A back slash is used in computer data structures so it leads to the next folder I believe in their context it has been used correctly, I also believe the OP needs to "get a life" ;o)))))
