Too true mate, at least I could see this one and get it running again but some bathroom fitters truly take the pi$$.

You can have this one for the plumbers forum as well, I found this on an eicr last year, I'm no plumber but Im pretty sure you shouldn't send a water pipe through an extractor fan.

If we are being honest I don`t think any regular member from either forum does this crap, it`s more likely a "mate from the pub" or a postcard in a shop window type of person.

Actually you'll find that that is what we call trace heating and ensures the water doesn't freeze in cold weather, yep it looks messy but its how its designed to spread the heat evenly
