Went to swap some dated outside lights over this morning for a customer

Thought something was strange when i saw 2 cables going in yet only one terminated, well when taking the outside light down, in the small void behind it was this

A twisted and taped joint outside and insulated with sellotape

bloody obvious innit. clear sellotape so as the joint is visible for inspection purposes.
