Been asked to run a supply for a hot tub, looking at the spec on it online. Comes on a plug top but it also says you need to run a separate earth out to it, anyone else ever had this? Surely the earth will come from the plug top. Seems a bit overkill

What size earth is iit stipulating? Unprotected I think it needs 4mm min but I’ve never heard of it either ?‍♂️
