Discuss Is this training course worthwhile? Time and Money? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

My heart genuinely goes out to the OP and many others in a similar situation, these courses ARE,as i have said on many occasions, are the equivalent of the pay-day lending job...Desparation being the driver of their expansion. Identical shortcuts are all around us,for instance, who would have guessed 10 years ago that hairdressers could be doing surgical procedures after day courses? That is how the Botox job has driven standards in that field. Now,hairdressing is a job i would be the last person to 'diss',having friends who run successful businesses and make an embarrassing amount of money, but, none of them have swore an oath at medical university...To the OP,i will give a bit of advice me mates grandad gave me at age 13,if something LOOKS too good to be true,it probably is...Good Luck

I think when these companies are getting 7K for the course they will NEVER stop and I don't see who can make them, someone needs too!

Im currently studying my HNC in electrical/mechanical engineering which doesnt provide any practical experience just theory

How times have changed at one time it was the highest qualification you could while still on the tools, looks like you can do it now without any practicable experience as with all electrical courses.
