Hello All,

this is my first post of probably many. Ive just bought my first house and its going to be a challenge. its a complete wreck which needs everything doing to it.

anyway we have just finished the kitchen and the lights in the kitchen but the extractor fan bulbs are halgen and are a yellow colour but the led spots and under cupboard lights are all cool white. anyway i replaced the gu10 bulbs with 3 watt led, they work great when they are on but when you turn them off one of the bulbs flash once every 3 seconds or so. at first i thought it was the bulb so i took that out and then the other bulb started doing it.

basically there is a bleed on the wiring and due to the led bulbs using such low watts this is effecting them.

im not sure whats best to do. my two thoughts are the following.

1. replace the bulbs with a higher watt led bulb hoping that the bleed wont be enough for them to flash
2. have my electrican wire in a resistor to take away this bleed.

If i have to do number 2 then can you point me to the right kind of resistor that will work. i can then order this and have him fit it saturday.

Hope you can help

kindest regards

daniel
