I've got this one and it is a decent printer.A shame as they had this one on offer for £53 last year,

Same here and well worth the price.I've got this one and it is a decent printer.
that should qualify for funniest post of the month. but as for screwfix, the road is long, with many a winding turn. Some of the larger labeling machines are quite heavy, but my one isn’t, he’s my brother
Have you ever been on site where Buzz has down the labelling by hand?White tape, sharpie pen. What’s the big deal?
Does you old one "still" work?Just ordered one now I will have to talk someone into buying my 5 week old E110 with no case no rechargeable battery and only 12mm tape and two line maximum
Guys buy it quick it’s a Monday only deal
(screwfix one not mine )
which one you got? i'm considering the toolstation £49.50 jobby.Well it's arrived and it's a dam great lump of a thing and talk about complicated, need a degree in computer science to use it, and it only WiFi connects to iPads, iPhones etc not to a MacBook, all in all I think I have wasted my money.
The Brother E550W, it does print beautiful labels and the heat shrink option is a good one, but!!! I think too complicated.
Does the 300 on sale at Toolstation print decent consumer unit labels?
Looking on e-bay there is a 10% saving code for the PTE550 wifi connected version, so it's under £150.00 if anyone is interested.
And even though their website says the PTE300VP is in stock they do not have any and not expecting a delivery for at least another month.
It's for use in the office, I print off a laser printer in strips that fit the Hager panel the software is called "Semiolog" very neat, but you need to know the details of the panel to get the correct format, you can also use/print the Hager standard colour labels for the MCB's, make's one look very professional don't you know.
Not tried the heat shrink, but the label cartridges now are of a quality quite similar to the official Brother ones.Anyone used the cheap China imported labels, I just don't see how they can do ten cartridges of heat shrink tube for £32.11 compared to the UK market price of between £6 to £8: Tubing Tape Heat Shrink Tube Brother P-Touch Label Maker Shrinkable SLEEVING | eBay - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tubing-Tape-Heat-Shrink-Tube-Brother-P-Touch-Label-Maker-Shrinkable-SLEEVING/254526447999?epid=2264555828&hash=item3b42f5617f:m:miTYo-L9QrqiU-MV59S51-Q
Anyone used them?
Why not just buy 5 catridges from that seller for £16.05 delivered?Anyone willing to take a punt on the above cartridges, 50:50, I will buy then and send them on to anyone willing, five cartridges for just over £16.05 plus postage to you, can't be bad, PM me if interested.
I did use a hot air gun very carefully (one used to strip paint), till it broke of old age.Anyone know the shrink ratio on these, also is the size on the flat or the dia? Found this on the web: This genuine Brother 5.8mm HSe-211 heat shrink tube tape is designed specifically for permanently marking and identifying cables and wires. With a shrink ratio of 2:1, the HSe-211 black on white tape is recommended for use with cables between 1.7mm and 3.2mm in diameter.

What do you guys use to shrink the tubing inside a DB?
I know just how it felt.
I'm looking at a mini flame less heat gun, but it does not get very good reviews: View: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Heat-Shrink-Tubing-Mini-Cordless/dp/B0064DGZPG/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=Mini+heat+shrink+gun&qid=1585666064&sr=8-7
I did get one of those or something very similar. Couldn't work out how to get the gas in.
Cheers, recall mine was a bit different to that, but in any case I binned it unfortunately. To get the gas in you have to take the whole side off the gun and remove the flintless lighter inside, it's this you fill with gas.
