Evening,

I'm in the process of a job with 100 downlights through a kitchen and the conservatories all open planned.

I'm looking for a good quality laser level cross line which projects onto the ceiling.

I have found one called Leica Lino l2 it's around the £200 mark, anyone had any experience with these or could recommend an alternative?

Cheers!

I bought a cheap one of eBay about 18 months ago, only paid £15 for it but the lowest it will go is 500mm and the Highest is 1000mm so pain in new builds but it did the job for a while but with the dewalt things should be a lot easier

The leica one came with a tripod, the smartest bit of kit ever for 205, so when youve bought the tripod for the dewalt theyre probably the same price

Dewalt one hasn't arrived and am having no response from the shop so a refund is in order and ordered the Leica Lino 2 and should be with me first thing in the morning, will give you a review after I've used it for a week!

My Mrs just can't get her head around it! I'll happily sit for hours reading through or trawling the Internet for tools!!

Went with ITS in the end, good price and have always had good dealings with them in the past!

You?

On-line Trader of Branded High Performance Power Tools and Accessories-DirectBrandTools UK - £204.93 delivered with a free tripod. That was for the latest one, the L2 plus, its a bit better. It came quick and in good nick.

Ive used it today and yesterday and I have to say I am mightily impressed & wish Id bought one years' ago. Its is not just quite accurate its absolutely spot on, really wide spread, the cases are great, the tripod is really professional.

that said it wasnt going well until I realised the "lock" was on after the first two hours......what a muppet

I ordered mine from Anglia Tool Centre, i use them a fair bit i got the same as you Spartykus. im the same, if im going to buy something ill trawl the net for info and reviews and i beleive you get what you pay for. My mrs always calls me a tool perv! I must admit though i have been know to throw a temper on site when people handle tools incorrectly, why pay money to throw them down!?!
