Discuss level 1 , any tips?? in the Electricians Jobs area at ElectriciansForums.net

This person requires some work. They've hopefully explained their skills and qualifications and what area they're in. Otherwise, what's the bloody point?

I want to be a qualified electrician.

I am really enjoying my course.

What's the fastest way after level 1 to be fully qualified?

any tips will be helpful. (based in west Yorks)

thanks

Yes you'll need to complete level 3 and also am2. Level 1 is a stepping stone onto them. You'd be best starting to get in contact with local companies about an apprenticeship, and complete them alongside it. Sadly it's not a quick process, likely 4 years after level 1.

I'm in West Yorkshire area. I'll have to contact a few electricians.

So do I need to do the apprenticeship after level 1 is completed ?
If you got an apprenticeship any completed units from level 1 that 'map over' will be carried over to the apprenticeship then you'll get day release to complete level 2 & 3, likely bypassing level 1 in its entirety. Speak with your college, most have apprenticeship teams that can help.
