I have a customer who wants to get solar panels installed. He wants to take advantage of the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) meaning the install has to be done by someone who is MCS registered.

Does anyone on here do that, and works in the Stroud area, or fancies a job in the Stroud area?

Does anyone have any good recommendations for a firm that is MCS registered?

It is not a large install, It is on a garage so no working at height.

He is a nice customer and pays promptly.

Crikey, no one?

Thought there would be someone on the Glos or Bristol area?

With a the Seg at what it is , it is more focused on what you save and not what goes back down the line.
We have had the DNO out twice this week alone for + 253 v supplies , whilst chatting with them about a possible tap change one of the lads mentioned that the problem is all of the extra solar that is going in and playing havoc with the network.
I suspect the Seg is so low that it is designed to goad people in to storage but make the general public think that they still have to use an MCS company to carry out the work.

HHD if you want a chat about the above, give me a pm and we can swap numbers for a proper chat if you like ?
