someone to probably point out the obvious please.
its a few years old and was last calibrated 2013. I have purchased the elecsa test card to avoid paying another £100.00 to calibrate, but i fear its now buggered.
testing on the low ohms range, seems to be all over the place.
join the leads together and null seems ok, but i am getting random readings when i am going through the testing. sometimes i seem to be getting a cumulative total when i test from one to another, and on other occasions the null seems to ineffective.
last time i got this calibrated i had the usual speech about sending the tester off if there were issues with it as they can't really do anything on these. Is it just advisable to change now?
If so what tester is recommended. these are too bloody expensive to keep doing this??
