Just had a return call from mk in regards to 100a main switches.

They have offered £50 to check each switch and a further £70 if they need changing or the stock option of

20 double sockets to check and a further 30 if it needs changing.

Now to decide if i want £500 or 250 sockets!

On their website it sounded like they'd lined up their own contractors to check and replace if necessary, they were just after info from the original installers. Maybe there's more urgency than they first suspected or maybe it's turning into a bigger task than they thought.

'£50 to check each switch and a further £70 if they need changing' How do these rates compare to normal electrical rates?
