rewired downstairs with help from someone on here , but it’s the top switch that cause the problem,
it seems the wires weren’t screwed in due the terminal screws being knackered, i have a new switch but totally different and plus one of the browns is really short
there is 5 browns 2 black brown sleeve 1 grey brown sleeve , plus a brown bridge connection, i believe i know know where they go in old switch but not the new
