Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the forums here, not so new to the Electrical Trade, Ive been a self employed Electrician for nearly 11 years and been in the game since i left school completeing my apprenticeship 4 years after.

The trade has been good to me and ive never been out of work for more than a few week's really. Have a varied past working history from heavy industrial quarry install and ppm through hospitals, hotels and commercial shopfitting (where most my money was earnt) and now into domestic work to tinker along side my other business of dust extraction service and installation (Dust & Ventilation Services ltd)
I have Recently registered on the elecsa part p program, find it very strange that i can do all the work i have been doing for the last ten years but now i have to pay for someone to assess my competance and pay for the prividge every time i do work that requires certifying in domestic properties. It has cost me nearly a thousand pounds to get everything together- re-write my saftey policy etc. the complaints book made laugh ive been in the trade 10 years and never had one let's hope it doesnt start now eh!!

Anyway hello everyone, i'll try and keep up with reading new post's and ill offer my advice whenever i feel ill be a help, ill ask too when i require pushing in the right direction!

Nice to meet you all
