That's terible a nice gusset bend in there would have done the trick. Bet the cable was short when it was pulled in and they've done that to gain a few inches lol.
 
Ok now I'm going to tell you that that is a shopping centre car park, the trays are on the ceiling and can easily be touched as the trays are only about 6'6" off the floor, very low ceiling indeed.

Should be nicely formed in that tray with tray lids. Yeeeeehaaaa

i`d say its been belted by something has that....as theres evidence of impact on the tray fixed to the wall as well..
 
To be honest it looks like it's buckled or they've half arsed tried to bend the side.

But the bottom one has definitely been hit
