Generally, for me, driving is just a means of getting from A to B as quickly as possible, so huge fuel economy doesn't bother me that much.
Good effort though!

Getting from A to B is also why I drive. Why else?
Long distances at times and average speed cameras make me comply with speed limits.
I set the cruise, relax, and listen to jazz, boogie or local radio.
The frugal consumption results.

No, she was on holiday with her special lady friend and if the wife hadn’t been there, I recon I could have turned both of them. And I was using my personal monopod to wave a white flag.:biggrinjester:

I was late getting home from site on one of those special days and I bought it a petrol station. About ten years ago. It is still hanging in there. The photograph was taken about two years ago.
