Discuss Protective measures other than ADS? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

I've assumed it means "have you used any of the protective measures listed in chapter 41 other than ADS in any part of the installation"
410.3.3 leads me to believe this includes within final circuits as it says "in any part of the installation".

I have to admit I haven't thought about this much, the most common situation probably being if SELV/PELV is used.

In a dwelling the most common other (than ADS) protective measures are electrical separation for one item of current using equipment (shaver socket), and SELV/PELV.
A tick in the box on the EIC indicates the presence and effectiveness of these other methods. If no other protective measures are used, then it's N/A.

I'm not sure what the OP is referring to when he mentions an enclosure?
