Looks like Aldi have a cable rod set on offer on Sunday for £6.99
sure it's not the quality of my main set which set me back a small fortune with the accessories etc but I think I'll pick a set up anyway.

I bought one but never opened it. After seeing my mate's aldi set have 3 rods splinter into sharp jabby bits, I dont fancy ever using it though.

My armeg rod set is made of a lot sterner stuff.

Always worth having a cheap set for them jobs where there is a risk of not getting them back lol. The VDE drivers they had in there a few months back aren't bad either.

Snapped two red Armeg rods this afternoon trying to get them round/down a duct to a petrol separator lol the rods are good for the money though. The threads snapped not the actual rod.

my superrod installers set (not the fancy ones, just 10x blue rod) is still going strong.
one intentionally broken (could not pull it out) one lost down the void. 8 still fine after 2 years.
about £30 value for money.

i think they have the vde drivers on offer as well. Think I'll just get the rods for back up as I have quite a few spare drivers which I'm still waiting to commission.
