Discuss Solid Core Flexible Cable in the Electrical Wiring, Theories and Regulations area at ElectriciansForums.net

Hello People - I have come across a cable type that I have not really seen before. It is a solid core flexible cable (but its not like flex). It's very malleable and holds its form when you bend it, it is a power cable. The cable code I have received is NHXMH cable. Question: Are there any British regulations specifying whether this cable type can be installed within a PVC conduit system? I'm aware that there are variables linked to installing standard flex (stranded) within conduit, but nothing for this cable type? The entire installation, AC's, sockets and lighting is to be installed in this cable..............but i'm not sure it is fit for purpose. Has anyone had any previous experience with this cable or know of any regulations to do with method of installation? Thanks
