i'd cut meter seals. teach them to fit meters with accessible (consumer side) terminals.

Whilst not impossible they are aluminium which I would replace it is highly unlikely they are steel. I would go for tinned copper.

I feel that, if it is ok for the energy company to connect them to the existing, provided all of the proper testing is carried out and the results lie within parameters , then I cannot see a problem

Got her given. Her last owner was moving house and wasn't allowed dogs so we agreed to take her in after checking our other staffy got along with her.

Still really giddy though. She's like a kangeroo
