Hi I am an electrician working in Cornwall.

I am currently employed by my boss for around £11 p/h. However I am looking to go self employed and subcontract to my boss as I want to spend more time surfing and going abroad.

My question is what is the going rate I should be looking for? I will be supplying my own transport, tools and power tools.

Thanks.
