Hi guys, could someone help with the following please? The scenario is:

Domestic property supplied via three phase (with a 3P main DB, NO SPD).
Tails split via henley blocks, and a second single phase DB installed; this DB has an SPD for it and it's circuits.

Now, normally with a single phase property, if the first DB had no SPD but the second DB was fitted within 10M of it, the installation as a whole could be regarded as protected, and that would be that. However, in this case, as the SP DB is more than 10M away from the main 3P board, only the circuits in my board are protected. However, is there a requirement that I should also install a three phase (Type 1) SPD in the main 3P board, in order to protect the circuits supplied by that board too, or is my responsibility only actually limited to the DB I installed? Many thanks in advance for any advice!

If you have only installed the board with the SPD your remit stops there. Imagine a site with hundreds of boards, where do you draw the line.

Thank you for the advice; I did figure it would be in the realms of discovering, say, a 10mm earth cable in a property, and having no more responsibility for that, other than to recommend that it's upgraded to 16mm. I just wanted to check if this situation was any different, so cheers for the response.
