Wanted - Vintage Mk Electric Light Switch 4 Gang 2 Way - need of 3 these longer type of switches - 3 or 4 gang would be ok

Bear in mind with the age of these they will have had a heck of a lot of wear and tear, and the switching operation may not be as good as it was. They may also have dirt build up and the switching action may be hampered because of of this.

That said, they would have been top quality in their day.

They seem extremely rare, looking for evidence of them on ebay, so 3 of them could be a long term project, unless you can find a dealer with stock. The single width 3 gang on the other hand are plentiful. You could use a double-to-single adapter plate to fit them to your existing boxes, which might not be aesthetically acceptable, or change the boxes in the wall to singles!! 🤔

These longer switches of the era appear to be quite rare (as you said), difficult to find and rather expensive (£20+).

I discussed the option of fitting single width 3 gang switches with my electrician yesterday, as I have 2 available.

He would be able to fit single boxes - however, this would need the wall to be filled, skimmed (“made good” as he called it).

I will probably take my time and see if I can source the longer switches.

If anyone can recommend a website (other than eBay, Etsy or Facebook Marketplace ) where I may be able find old MK switches, please let me know.
