Tbf Carlos the peh munchers were pretty spot on with not even a hint of trouble.i thought we played better against Aberdeen in the semi final but I will take my day in the sun while it's there.
good atmosphere I thought with both sides contributing well.
if it was like that every week you would get great crowds .....unfortunately I am old enough to know it's no like that!

The win will undoubtedly bring more fans to mcdairmid but for how long? I hope they continue their form next season but do you thing stevie may will get snapped up? Where have all the die hard fans been hiding since they won the first division cos there seemed to be a hell of a lot of them?

Stevie May will be sold at some point.
i think he has seen the trail of Scottish wonder kids moving down South for the money and failing miserably to see that he needs to learn a bit more of his craft.
he is only 21 after all.
i remember him as a raw 17 year old with the pace of a whippet but built like a bus ticket
too easily brushed off the ball but he has certainly bulked up and is a handful for most defenders .
could do with scoring more with his head though.
Chris Kane is the next one to look out for.
as with May he has been out on loan to get the experience of the roughhouse lower divisions to toughen him up. Certainly a talented laddie.
i am more concerned about keeping the manager who tbh I had doubts about , with his( lack of) tactical awareness early on.
he seems to have got over this and has got his prep work spot on usually.
an all round nice fella who the players seem to love.
if your players do what the manager asks it's half the battle( just ask David moyes!)
the club will probably get a good bit of a bounce of this tbh. I might go more myself rather than work on a Saturday !

Well if you want high hopes and expectations to lead to disappointment just get one of these.

You beat us 5-2 this season at your place though. although Zamora scoring that last minute winner against Direby makes it all ok.

ohh yes lol. one visit to goal all game....one shot all game.....and in the 90th minute. Sheer Bliss......but thats football. As shankley & Cloughy would say..it only takes a second to score a goal!

Rugby obviously Gloucester, football any team in the world playing against Scotland, any team, even north Korea, Argentina, or even Germany, I have to admit I even support the French when they play the Dirty sweaty socks

i support wales ( rugby) and any team playing against england, even the sweaties.

Sheffield united The mighty Blades @ beautiful downtown Bramall Lane.

So it's the first day of the season for me today, I am due to be in the pub at 10.30 for a few jars before going to see the return of a child hood hero of mine , I can't sleep because of the excitement. When he walks out the tunnel the ground is going to erupt.

ok boys
what football team do you support?
and for the welsh contingent which rugby team?
(if god meant you to pick the ball up he would've put a handle on it!!)
come on you spurs.,
we're gonna get above the irons from east london!!!

Not Welsh, hate football, the one game with the round ball, played by overpaid models, Rugby is my game, and only one team comes to mind Bath Rugby, secondly Gloucester, well if Bath aren't doing to well you have to support the next localish side.

Why not Northampton ?

Looking forward to seeing how Sam Burgess adapts to the game . Monster that boy , in a nice way obviously .

The Rabbitohs goin' well this season too .

Born and raised in Bath, played for one of the junior teams a very long time ago, you can move out of Bath but you can't get Bath Rugby out of your system.

Boy did he get a good reception and we created a massive noise for him too

I can imagine, I feel strongly about our Rugby team and also get a little put out at times lol, first game of the season next week for us, were playing Leeds in a friendly, I reckon we will thrash them

I like Notts Forest, good on you fella.

Didn't have you down as a footy fan Mike ?

I'm unfortunately a Tottenham Hotspur supporter, despite been born and raised in sunny yorkshire the ancestrial line mean's im spurs. As for rugby, i used to play it up untill 3years ago, but, don't really have a team ... used to go watch Leeds Tykes regularly from 14-18 but i have no idea whats even happened too them?
