Decided to start a poll on screwdrivers as there seems to be so much variety of opinions in all the previous threads!

Sorry if I haven't added enough choice, If I have left out any major ones then I'll see if I can add them, but only over the next day or 2 so it doesn't skew the results.

if you need to hit with a hammer, borrow the plumber's. a lot is down to personal preference. i like the klauka interchangeables for servicing work and the irazolas for installation.

Been using the wera kraftform for few years now just bought a new set of stainless steel ones, I like the long terminal drivers from neweys made by wiha I think about ÂŁ3

I've got an interchangeable set but purely for those tasks when I don't need the full toolbag. I wouldn't use them full time tho so I have the bahco tekno drivers. Nice and big chunky handles and drivers give you plenty leverage on those pesky screws. I've had wera and Stanley before but didn't last as long as these. Wiha are meant to be good too tho

This ''What's the Best Screwdriver'' topic has been done to death, .........Several times over!!

That was the whole point of this thread E54. There are so many threads on the subject with so many conflicting views, but I didn't really fancy reading every single one and counting the number of people who preferred each brand. Hence we all now have a very clear view in the form of a poll, which can be referred back to and will save future viewers hours of reading through conflicting posts.

It's obviously not perfect, but I think it should prove useful.

Thing is though Steve, I like my Wiha drivers you like your CKs (I think you said that earlier anyway) there's no harm in the thread but opinions are like arseholes mate. We've all got one

Thats a fair point Trev, I think I put a bit too much sway into statistics. Still, If one clearly comes out on top amongst a group of professionals then I'd be inclined to think that it must be a good quality screwdriver.

Still, its a bit of fun having a poll! :smile5:

I have a few different ones in the tool bag. This makes it easier to differentiate between the different sizes. The last set I brought were Irazola's. A while ago now though.

Similar here. All of my flat blades and pozi drivers are Wera, but I deliberately bought CK for three Phillips drivers so that they would be easy to differentiate.
