I bought a 150w pir floodlight from wickes last weekend for a job that had to be cheap, at £19.99 I thought that will do, but the trouble I had wiring it up, I genuinely couldn't figure how to wire it up and this is supposed to be a diy unit, the biggest load of pap I've come across.....avoid at all cost.

Going to Wickes:eek:

Had to be cheap:eek:

Cheaper places than Wickes;)

What was the problem with it?,always found these units straight forward enough.
And the same cheap rubbish no matter what you pay,or where you get them from.

The connection block, one is supplied, but can't figure out how it attach's to the wall plate after wiring up. No guidance is given on the instruction sheet, up a ladder for 20 mins freezing and trying to figure it out dose my knees in. The old metal ones where fine, but these new plastic 'dark skies' type are cheap c**p.
