Hi,
Just received a letter on behalf of my electricity suppler (utility warehouse) from a company called Amy. They advise that my old electricy meter has passed its expiry date and would like to arrange to replace it with a new meter for free.
I would like to know who actually owns the electricty meter - I thought it was national grid?
My property has old wiring and needs rewiring. I would like to know if replacing a new meter will have any impact on the old wiring ie. causing frequent fuse tripping etc or will the replacemnt make no difference?
