the kitchen company asked me to do the works and when i asked were to invoice i got told the kitchen company now they are saying i should off invoiced her

Was it on a CIS they paid you? Have they paid you?

Do not send the invoice to the customer. As I said before, send it to the kitchen company with a letter. The more proof you were working for the kitchen company at the time the better for you, if it goes to court.
