Hello,

I went to my local takeaway to do some work and the landlord complained the cost of electrics is really high, of course I've heard this a lot lately nevertheless I went to investigate and noticed this sub meter I installed previously which is giving supply to the tenant a flat above using a card system that is feeding off the main supply off the takeaway is running at half price.

Instead of being 30p per unit it is only charging the tenant 15p, how would I go about resolving the issue is there any setting or programming I can do to the sub meter to bring it back upto the normal rate of 30p? Or do I need to get the landlord to call the energy provider directly to remedy the issue? Or maybe replace the sub meter entirely.

Thanks

You will need to read the manual for the meter you installed in order to find out how to adjust the unit price.
However, the landlord needs to check his contract with the Tennant. Increases are allowed but it may be listed in the contract what the rate paid for electricity should be.
