Roof tiles on top of brackets

Hi All, Just done my first day of my first install which will be used for assessment. Enjoyed it but have no knuckles left! I am using a schletter mounting system on a tiled roof. The tiles are lifting ok but i'm unhappy at the way they go back. The bracket is quite thick and it is causing...

Fixings for roof brackets

I'd be interested to hear what types of fixings people are using to secure their roof brackets. We have been using 8 x 80 Spax screws but aren't entirely sure what 'industry standard' is.... that is if there is actually a standard.

A few questions about trunking....

I have these questions I have to answer as part of my assignment for my electrical course and I am a little stuck on these three questions. Describe how you would support trunking from brackets. How would you support lighting trunking? Describe how you would fix tray to allow fixing of cables...

First installation

Anybody had any problems using a Schuco fixing brackets with curved clay tiles? Also, does it matter whether you use the pos or neg for the long cable back to the isolator?
