Now we don't have to notify a PIR and therefore we don't have to be with one of the self-certification schemes to do them. However what happens when the PIR shows up some faults? why Pfc is 16kA in Installation Cert?
In the Installation Certificate, the Pfc of supply is 16kA, but on the top of testing results, the Pfc normally is 1 or 2kA, normally less than 6kA. Why the 2 numbers are so different? cheers- bluesky

Drilling Flat Roof Joists
Are we allowed to do this ? If yes is it the same hole size/distances as floor joists ? I normally use the safe zones, but this isn't possible as its like an all glass byfold door type extension. I'm thinking I can as surely floor joists have just as much weight on them, thought I'd see what... -

testing for borrowed neutrals
on changing fuse boards has anyone got a sucssesful method of testing for borrowed neutrals before changing ? finding probs on changing boards then to find borrowed neutrals on two way lighting on stairs and wall lights thanks for any feedback !- scott g
