    Quality Floodlight

Interested to get recommendations for a top end of the range 500 watt floodlight. No PIR preferrable, could disconnect that though. Steinel which has been recommended before doesn't appear to do one without PIR. For West coast of Scotland so best IP rating also an issue. Thanks Iain

    regs impairing quality

This is not really about electrical work. But in flats where refurbs are taking place to meet current build regs I reckon this is causing distress to the flat dwellers. Ok. its distressing enough for all the works at someones flat. They have had a rewire, fine, new kitchen, fine, new...

Here's a nice article that outlines power quality troubleshooting techniques. It focuses on a hospital technician but the methods could be applied in most any industry. Check it you if you have a chance. http://support.fluke.com/find-sales/download/asset/2646562_6112_eng_a_w.pdf

Quality screwdriver kit with detachable handle

Went in CEF in Launceston today and on the counter was this fancy electrical screwdriver kit in quite a small metal tin. There was about ten types and because there was only one handle they took up very little space. The handle clicked onto the screwdriver shaft with a very convincing click. It...
