    Can some one explain if your pscc value is say 4.6ka well in gn3 it says that your protective device must not be less than that value so say the protective device was 5ka how would the protective device trip if it's fault current was only 4.6ka please explain cheers lads

    Low ZE values

    If I have a very low Ze Reading ie. 0.06 ohms and a Zs Reading on a 40amp shower circuit of 0.1 ohms under fault conditions for instance dead short at pull cord could this cause the main incoming fuse to blow before the mcb trips?? Thanks any input would be appreciated.

    Not trying to nit pick....but. Table 41.3 max Zs etc are at 100% values whereas GN3 table B.4 show 80% values but some of the values in GN3 are not even close to being rounded up.
