Discuss 16 Amp Commandos 4 core swa in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

I went to look at a job today and the client has two 16amp commandos installed but they are both wired in the same 4 core SWA through two 16a MCBs and the CPC for both is the armouring of the SWA. The two cores go to one commando and the other two go to the other commando(only about 5m away). The two 16a mcbs go back to a 32a RCBO which is solely for the two commandos. My question is, is this acceptable as I’m not sure about the CPC arrangement? Technically they are both on the same circuit at the board.
TIA

They will have poor over-current selectivity between the 16A MCBs and the 32A RCBO but that is not dangerous, just mildly inconvenient.

Assuming nothing life-critical hangs off them but if it does they have many, MANY other problems!
