17TH EDITION bathroom supplementary bonding

Hi all I maybe returning to the domestic work after about 7 years out just wondering what people mostly do about supplementary bonding in bathrooms now with 17th edition boards do you still need to go to a light point and do you bond all extraneous conductors in 4mm or do you check your main earth to these parts (longlead) and hope nobody ever replaces part of pies in plastic etc. What do you think is best practice and expected of us?

Not wishing to come across as a cockhead, there is a bit more to it now, and you need to consult the good book to see what is and isnt required etc etc. special locations Section 701.

I have read into all the regs regarding 17th edition compliance regarding bathroom special locations and 30ma protection etc and the new part p ammendments about whats not notifiable no i.e. kitchens alterations except bathroom etc.

Given this scenario all copper pipeing/ basin/ steel bath/ rad/ towel rad/ toilet inlet pipe exposed 1x 2d light fitting in a bathroom what would you bond or would you just leave given you satisfy the formula in green book I cant be assed to lookup right now.

Just trying to get an idea of whats considered good practice and what sparks are upto on this now.

If you have full continuity through the pipe work and 30 ma rcd protection no bonding is required
