Thought I’d start a thread to see how everyone does 2 way switching, a know there’s a few ways. Me myself always connect my feed in with L1 and switch wire in L2 and then in common is just the brown from the 3 core, at the other switch all you have is the 3 core. This is baring in mind I work mostly in houses
 
similar but i use the black of the 3 core as common, brown in L1, grey in L2. (alwayse use dto use yellow for common, so this way corresponds.
 
I use whatever wiring method suits the job in hand
One job recently because of the layout of the lighting and the 2 way and 2way and intermediate switching arrangements the customer wanted I used 3 or 4 different wiring methods
